About our leather
Our leather goods are made from Buttero full-grain leather by Conceria Walpier, one of Italy's most respected tanneries. Every piece is cut from clean double shoulders — no bellies — which means consistent thickness, high yield, and material we can stand behind entirely.
Because Buttero is full-grain leather, it carries the natural history of the animal. Over a lifetime, hides develop scratches, bite marks, branding impressions, stretch marks, and variations in grain and texture. These marks are not flaws. They are evidence of the material's authenticity and will be present to varying degrees in every piece we make.
Colors and textures may appear slightly different on screen than in person, as every hide is unique and monitor calibration varies. What you receive will always be honest to the material.
